Dear Designers,

I would need 6 different coffee Package Designs. They should be the same style but different color themes, so we can keep the companies identity, and for the customers it should be easy to see that the coffee is coming from the same company.

Our success is based on quality of course and an important part of our business philosophy is the design. I need something unique, creative, out of the ordinary. Something which clearly stands out of the shelves and attracts the focus of the customers in the supermarket.

Some modern but still traditional version of a pop art, it doesn’t need to be beans and cups…can be anything, please google “coffee package design” to get some ideas of what I like. A normal coffee cup and beans doesn’t work for me.
The packaging material is white Kraft Paper, meaning it will not be possible for a glossy look. The volume is 200gr.

For the packaging:
The front side should have an easy to see explanation and has to be in 2 languages (English & Vietnamese) …. Please write “Vietnamese” on the samples so I can translate it later.

The back has to have a field where I can mention ingredients, company address, product code (barcode).
The sides can be used for your design (u also can put the ingredients here, up to your design). All packages have a volume of 200gr….

1st Design:
Vietnamese Coffee – Ca Phe Viet Nam
Ingredients: 99% Robusta Beans, 1% Butter
This one should have a description of how to brew coffee – a bit different then European. I would love to have a small description using Icons (more a visual explanation) use google to get an idea, difficult to explain how they brew coffee….

1st Step is: use 10gr. Coffee powder in a Vietnamese coffee Fin (check google for pictures)

2nd step is: lightly compress the coffee, and pour a small amount hot (below 90 degree Celsius) water on top, wait 20 seconds to enhance the flavor of the coffee.

3rd step: pour more water and wait till the coffee drops in the cup.

4st step: enjoy with “sweet milk & Ice” or “black with sugar”
This explanation has to be made somehow visually so that everybody can understand….You can use the sides for this, if the design allows it.

2nd Design: same like first design but packaging special edition

Vietnamese Coffee – “Vietnamese” (Phan Thiet / Mui Ne Edition)
It has to be a special design for this particular village. This area in Vietnam is famous for:
- Watersports (Windsurfing – Kite Surfing)
- Local Vietnamese fishing people
- Beach and sunshine
- Resorts & Tourism

3rd Design: Same like No. 1. But special edition for Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

Important on this one, please do not use Ho Chi Minh Images – not allowed from the government…

4nd Design:
Breakfast Blend – “Vietnamese”
Ingredients: 80% Robusta & 20% Arabica

5th Design:
Italian Espresso Blend – “Vietnamese”
Ingredients: 100% Arabica Beans – dark roast

6th Design:
Mocca Coffee – “Vietnamese”
Ingredients: 90% Robusta, 8% Arabica, 1% chocolate, 1% Butter

IMPORTANT:
The winner need to submit designs in a format that I am able to change & add wordings and translations. The format has to be usable in offset printing machines on KRAFT WHITE PAPER.

    Hello Sir,

    Tell me please is this design direction must be as in PDF or upside down? Simply if we will do it as it is right now so it seems that this triangle part of die-cut shape must be on the top of design, no?

      i just double check....please keep the measurments of the PDF File, the part where you see the fold, will be the bottom, so no need to design. Please keep the design above the red line mark.....

      I understand, so do you prefer the background color to be white, or is it okay to make the packaging fullcolor?

      that does not matter to me. If you color it please use some creativity, not only 1 blank color, some sort of pop art background or picture etc...

    i just uploaded 2 samples of packaging which I like.....just to give some ideas....please try to stay away from too much brown....its a coffee cliche color i like to avoid...thanks
