I am upgrading my personal web site: http://www.sandvand.net
Need a simple and elegant logo that will include two elements:
- My name: John Einar Sandvand
- A photo of me: Two alternatives attached

The design of the web site will be responsive - and the logo must work as well for mobil, iPad and laptop. It will be placed where my name is currently displayed on the web site - in the upper left area.

I imagine that the first names "John Einar" will be put in smaller font than the family name "Sandvand", for instance in a line above.

Would like to have result both as the original Photoshop file and as a suitable jpg/gif.

Some background: The site will in first stage be used to promote an ebook I am about to publish about Cambodia. I may also in future use it as place to display my photography.

I want the logo simple, but elegant. Feel free to find a creative way to incorporate one of the photos of me in the logo.

Thank you everyone for participating! I received so many great suggestions and it was very hard to choose! In the end I chose a logo from Ibed05. It is simple, yet very elegant, I thought. But many others could have been chosen and I have studied each of the 130 suggestions carefully. This is the first time I hold a contest like this, but I will definitely do it again. Thanks again, everyone!
