Updated 01.06: This is a summary of the best design in this competition so far: [url removed, login to view] - it contains the best header, the best footer, the best slider and so on. Feel inspired, all of these designs are designs that I like. But no-one has alone provided the perfect solution so far.
If you win, you must implement the design in WordPress and Bootstrap.
Updated 31.05: This contest is all about the website, NOT the shop itself. I only want a new design for my website (we sell hosted store/shops) that promotes our service. We are a service provider and do not sell products.
It is to be used for this website: http://www.minbutikk.no.
- You do not have to code anything in advance before you win.
- Provde a drawing of one front-page. If I like it a lot, I will say so and you can submit a sub-page (that should be very similar withouth a slider).
It promotes pre-made store-solution for small businesses and private persons.
You mission is the design of our website that promotes our webshop/store-solution for merchants that wants a simple shop. Our website that you shall re-design is http://www.minbutikk.no. Our shop, that you shall NOT design (it is only shown here so that you may grab screenshots of the shop-solution we sell to merchants), can be seen here: http://demo.minbutikk.no. I love the design of the shop we deliver. But your task is the website that SELLS the entire shop-solution. You design shall not, I repeat, shall not have any store/shop with products.
I want a design that is somewhere in betweeen the two designs - the demo store is to simple to be used for the website. And the current website at [url removed, login to view] is just a bit too booring and "fixed" - it needs air and bootstrap - needs to more like the demo-store in a way without going all the way. It is almost like the demo-store just need a nice header (and perhaps a slider ++, moving the main menu, main features box etc) to be perfect for my need!
Iimplemented in a clean wordpress-install.
Be creative and think formal-style. Use as few-colors as possible. Keep in mind that [url removed, login to view] is a design that I really really love and it almost have no color or anything "fancy" going on. Keep it simple and clean.
Logo and main navigation can be just like it is on [url removed, login to view] with regards to position of these two elements. The same goes for the rest of the site basically. The main thing is just the look.
I would love design that includes screenshots of the demo-store, as this is what my website will sell!
- Boostrap and WordPress using a clean install of WordPress (I used a pucrhased template for [url removed, login to view], but don't want the theme).
I'm not a big fan of the color I have in the logo, so feel free to NOT use mutch of that in your design. Black/gray/white is my favorite, maybe with just one moro color introduced (darker blue). Other colors than that can work, as long as it fits with design.
Why bootstrap? I like to make custom code and using bootstrap makes it easier with less work html and css-wise. So please don't disable bootstrap or mess upp padding/margins and so on (withouth having a plan for it at least).
