Contest Brief

I need you to design and code a responsive HTML e-mail newsletter for an imaginary event called "designexpo". Search online for design events for branding inspiration. The layout should be 600px wide and must have a header area, two column top area, single column bottom area and must include:

(1) 4 text links above header area. Header itself must include dates of event, location of event and subtitle of "EMAIL NEWSLETTER". The logo for the event itself can be something clean or as simple as a white knockout of the header background.

(2) Top left column must have news area of various style announcements (at least a title, graphic and random paragraph text).

(3) Right hand column must have "Sponsored by:" area with 3 spots for company logos. Also have social media links, registration button, "Exhibitor News" area with links to news categories, "Featured Exhibitors" section with 3 spots for company logos.

(4) Body of newsletter should have "lorem ipsum" generic text but with stylized sample content and section headers for different news items, similar to top left column.

(5) At bottom have a sponsored content area, with small image, company name, news title, and paragraph text for companies that had their logos featured in top right column.

The whole e-mail should be responsive for smaller screens but still include all elements and content areas. The overall layout should have clean professional branding and you are free to be creative as this is an imaginary event.

You can also show me layourt examples or examples of branding from which to choose before starting if that helps. Thanks!

If you need inspiration for branding ideas, google "graphic design conference", for example the conferences here ( http://www.pastemagazine.com/blogs/lists/2014/01/top-10-design-conferences-to-attend-this-year.html ) all look cool, but please don't copy their branding exactly

CadyC, its a graphic design expo. The main part of the project is the responsive layout, but the person who makes an effort in making some kind of cohesive brand for the layout will win.

Hi Gerald, I was just wondering what type of design expo this would be (hypothetically speaking, since it's imaginary)? Interior design, graphic design, etc? Thanks, looking forward to working on this.

It is not that I did not read the requirement properly Gerald. My point was to show you something in which if I do the alteration; would be reaching near to fulfilling your requirement.

My motto was to know your opinion. I will provide you another iteration soon.

appshoppee, the example you submitted has none of the elements I requested. You can show me layout examples of other newsletters, but they should at least be related to the topic (a newsletter for a design event)
