Contest Brief

We are a general merchandise department store. We will be opening our second location. We need 2 (two) billboard designs. the billboard sign is 2.44x4.88 meters (Landscape)
This first design should be a "coming soon" design. the second should be a "Now Open" desing. both designs can be similar. I have attached our company logo, which includes our slogan "Tur kos pa bo kas... y mas" translated "Everything for your home... and more"

The company (brand) is relatively well known, so the name and the fact that it is "coming soon" or "now open" to this location should be the main attraction of the advertisement. the new location is known as "Zeelandia"

the contestant will need to deliver a jpeg version of both "coming soon" and "now open" designs in order to participate. once a winner is selected, he or she will have to deliver the correct format at the correct resolution for the billboard to go up. We may ask the winning contestant for minor changes to the art work prior to submitting the design.

Good Luck!

Hi Luke, Zeelandia is a neighborhood i Curacao, an island in the Caribbean. It is a small commercial/industrial area known to everyone (all 150.000 inhabitants) in curacao. I am not sure if that really helps with the design. Our store, as i mentioned, is a general merchandise department store, which means we sell a variety of products ranging from kitchen appliances to bedsheets and comfoters, hardware, carpets, car accesories, decor items, small and large plastics, utensils, disposable items, cosmetics, footwear, cookware, etc. the purpose of this billboard is to let people know that we are now going to be opening in this area, Zeelandia.
