Contest Brief

We are creating a snow weather app. The app is very simple, It displays the user with the weather forecast for a selected ski resort. Users would have a list of favourite ski resorts, they can also browse resorts by country or by search. The goal of the app is to give the user a quick simple indication of how good ski conditions over a 6 day forecast via the use of suggestive colour palette along with simple iconography to convey weather information. User will also have the option to display a more detailed snow-forecast parameters if they wish to examine more info details.

1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- The logo must not appear on any screen other than the splash screen.
- Please do not use photo pics of resorts
- I am not expecting a fully working app just a mockup
- A working interface and animation with dummy data will be favourably looked upon

2. SCREENS

2.1 Splash Screen

Tell users it's loading

2.2 Landing Screen:
The landing screen is the first screen the user sees after the splash screen finishes loading. It displays a list of favourite resorts. I have attached a list based layout as an example. I envision the app using that same layout with each item displaying a favourite resort and a summary of resort general snow-info. However, feel free to improve or rework the idea using any layout or style you see fit.
- User can add/remove resorts
- Display Resort name
- List items displays the name of the resort and a short summary of the resort info
- Resort info are { average Snow Depth (in cm), - Last Snow n days ago, - last fresh snow (in cm)}
- List items must be colour coded.
- Users may add as many resorts as they want to this screen (Realistically speaking they probably wont have more than 3)
- Clicking the item should animate to load the Resort Info Screen.

2.2 Resort Info Screen
The resort info screen shows a 6 day summary forecast. By clicking on the day forecast the users will be presented with more information. I envision the app using that same layout as attached. The selected day expands to a block showing more details. Non-selected days are collapsed and shows as a list item with a short summary for that day's forecast. You may chose to use the exact same light out, but I am also looking for some fresh ideas.
NOTE: Please try a different design if you can.

3 CONTENT

3.1 Resort info screen / Detailed Summary / expanded block :
(wind-speed (AM & PM), informational-icon, weather summary, feels-like temperature, max & min temperature)
3.2 Resort info screen / Short Summary / Collapsed :
(wind-speed, informational-icon, feels-like temperature)
3.3 Landing page / fav resorts screen
(average Snow Depth , - Last Snow n days ago, - last fresh snow )

4 COLORS
Each day must have a suggestive colour that represents the condition on the day. The colour reflects if this is an excellent, good, moderate or bad day. This helps the user make a visual assessment if they should go or not go to the resort in a any of the days

- Settings
- Update Data

  Landing Screen, Resort info screen, application menu, and a way to browse/search for resorts this can either be via screen or a menu. Not sure what is the best practice at this point but more than happy to give feedback once you got something to show
