I didnt find it nessesary to add a location pin, as the word 'location' explain the concept enough.

The number 8 shall be a clear and powerfull statement, and there should be no doubt about the meaning of the name - therefore the 8 is very simple. The green background is planet earth. I think cartoons etc. is confusing the overall message of the logo, which will destroy the brand identity - therefore I created a simple but powerful logo. After a while, the 8 (+ green circle) should be a strong enough brand to stand by its own (without the text).
