Design a Logo for two 5K races for Dog Rescue group - repost

These are logos for T shirts and website for two 5K runs. The first is for Christmas Holiday. The second is in spring. No more than two color screens plus black for design.

The logos should be similar styles. They should look like a series. I would like a generic cartoon dog, more like a greyhound than anything.

Each design will need name of run, date, Run for Rescue, and At Risk Intervention on it, whether inside the circles or otherwise.

The first race will be 14 December 2013, so I would expect red, green (or red and gold or something that looks good -- you're the artist!) I am imagining a generic dog character, cartoon style, in Santa hat. Perhaps concentric circles around central designs, decorated like a wreath, with the words
HOWLIDAY RUN 14 December 2013 At Risk Intervention in between them.

The second race will be 10 May 2014 and it will be called the SNOUT COUNT. I would want that same dog, but this time peering over a wall like the old KILROY WAS HERE design, with the snout on our side of the wall and the body behind the wall. The concentric circles/words would have dogwood flowers or spring flowers.

Some really nice additional entries but I think some of you have not read the requirements in terms of colors. Need to be able to do spot color Tshirts with the design.

I will leave it open until the deadline. Leninvallejos has really nailed the look and will be tough to beat. Vasco is also a strong entry but I like Lenin's dog better. Days are actually 15 December and 10 May.
