Contest Brief

Hi there, I am looking for the design of a logo for a new company that is building mobile applications from scratch.
The company, 'The App Assembly' will use the logo on the company website, within app splash screens and in promotional material.

The name of the logo should read 'The App Assembly'.

The design themes are around networks of people. and mobile application development (eg bits of code or cogs or interconnecting wheels, production lines, spanner).

This is a new company with no existing web presence, so there may be more work in relation to website, business cards etc.

As part of this competition we would like a colour palet of 4-6 colours to be included that would complement the logo design. The logo may or may not use these colours.

Criteria:
1. A professional standard logo you would expect from a professional app house.
2. The logo should work against any coloured background
3. The logo could contain a mascot of some sort of relevant image.
4. Fonts used as part of the logo must be detailed on delivery.
5. Logo/images become the property of The App Assembly.
6. Additional costs associated with the use of commercial images must be detailed with each entry.

If I like your work I will add comments to improve on it to increase your ranking.

I can only award one winner but i may be in contact with other entrants for work at a later date if I like really your work.

We don't want loads of color in the actual logo or graphic. Then we'd like to see another two or three colors that would compliment the design, allowing the company to use these other colors in the rest of their website.
