i'd need a logo for this website: http://www.tennispays.com. The site only covers tennis subjects. it provides quizzes, challenges and other contests where users COMPETE and WIN. this is what i would like the logo to represent. if i had to pick 3 words to describe this they would have to be: tennis/compete/win.
As for the technical part, the logo would have to be vectorial (illustrator mainly), and optimally it would have to come in 2 forms (over a dark background/ and over a light background/. Also, the winner will most probably receive another project for some printable designs for t-shirts that the site will offer as winnings..
I can accept any range of complexity of the logo (FROM - very simple black&white TO very complex with lighting and shading and multiple colors) as long as it is original and tells the story i would like it to tell.
I have done some work on the logo myself, but i'm really not that happy with it. The work is posted in the attached files..

So far i like sinzcreation's entries. I feel they capture most of what i have asked for. Also, the colors are very close to what i would expect of anything tennis related to be.

Although i really appreciate the effort, i think kikasD has not really managed to convert on most of the important aspects of the site. It's something tennis-related, yes, but nothing more than that. really generic, not far from what i could have done myself. Also i am looking for a more serious font. A bit more elegance and a bit more business-like could go a long way.
