Contest Brief

The SA Hotshots is an elite South Australian men's field hockey team that competes in the Australian Hockey League (the top prestigious hockey competition in Australia).

The current logo (see attached) is the original design from the early 1990's.

The logo must be portrait and will be both embroided and silk screened onto uniform items - tracksuits, playing & training tops (please see the attached uniform files for current examples). It will also be used for branding and promotional exercises including printed 3 metre banners and online platforms.

Colours are Red, Gold, White Navy/Black . The Hotshots logo needs to be field hockey orientated - FIERCE, HOT, FAST, EXCITING. It needs to look 3D not cartooned and have a double border so that it can be used on multiple coloured backgrounds.

Maybe the logo within the SA State shape (feel free to smooth detail of state outline) is just one idea. Remember it must be easily embroided.

I have attached examples/ideas for themes (see EG files)

I will require the finished artwork in high res Vector files for printing.
