Contest Brief

overall need an upgrade in detail and look. It is an outdoors/tactical/survival/fly fishing company. I have 2 files included and they both have a generic sense of the idea of what I am looking for.

in logo Astraeus (a) I like the helm and the top right fish (permit). The AE is a ligature and I would like to keep them the way they are, I also like the 2 tone color. I think the lettering overall tho could use an upgrade. The circular design that the fish are in is a shield and should have depth to appear as such. Maybe a little aging to the items in there to give them an effect of being objects rather than and item and a drawing.

in logo Astraeus (b) I like the top fish (trout) and somewhat the left fish (largemouth bass) ..

I will include pics for references. In short i am looking to combine the better aspects of both and step it up a notch in overall design on a finished product. So lets see what you've got.... Good luck and thanks for your participation !

  depth as in not a flat object .. the fish themselves on the shield would be dpethless but the sheild should appear to be a shield .. not a round circle behind a helm that has depth..
