I have narrowed it down to the finalists... will probably award this within the next 24 hours, depending on the responsiveness of requested changes.

monamisoft... head's up... I TRULY appreciate your energy but you need to LISTEN. I recall you from a previous contest, too, I think?

I have said to everyone... SIMPLIFY the design, not make it more complicated. And you ADD components?? Your designs are NICE and all, but I am trying to drive this toward a particular "look". The winner will be the one who listens to instructions and gets me closest to that vision. (BTW, that's how things WORK in most of the world. Take heed!)

If I haven't contacted you directly, you might take a look at the top rated entries to see some of the ideas I am suggesting to a few others.

If you want to improve your entry, try to simplify it. RE-READ my brief/notes first.

102 and 103, your direction isn't bad but the images are not right... the one angled page for 103 is nice but probably too subtle and 102 is curved in such a way it could be seen as the number one, which I want to avoid.

Well, I've seen a few things but still not what I want... so I'm taking more control. I've not given private instructions to a few people to make changes to an existing entry. SOME OF THESE CHANGES WILL BE THE SIMILAR... because I am the one asking for them. I say that only to stop any bickering. please.

I am STILL OPEN to fresh ideas! If you have none, thanks for your efforts. If you do, let's see what you've got. If it's anything close to a vision I have, it WILL get my attention.

I'm happy to see that YOU know who the winner is... when I DO NOT.

What I am TRYING TO DO with the ratings is give an indication of my preferences SO FAR. If someone copies the leader and it's not better, they will not win. If they see the "look" I prefer and come up with a creative alternative, then I WILL seriously consider and rate it appropriately. That's how this process is supposed to work.

In fact, #62 is the leader AT THIS POINT, but we are only a few days into the contest.

If you have no better alternative to offer, then... yes, the contest is over FOR YOU.. but not everybody else.

3. I think the letters in the name all need to be the SAME COLOR (unless you have something absolutely astounding otherwise). And, as I said before, the letters MUST BE EASY TO READ!

4. After seeing these and since the name might be confused with the general term, I've decided I DO want the .com in the logo. Sorry for the change but, with your help, I'm trying to lead this to the best logo possible.

It easier for me to consider a single page of entries, so I will start rejecting the lower rated ones along with "duplicates" that are very similar from the same person.

After seeing the entries so far, here is some feedback on various parts of the logo:

1. Do NOT put a 1 (number) in the logo. It will be confusing.

2. I like the idea of incorporating some kind of iconic image to help communicate the name. #29 is simple and I sort of like the way the dogear sort of points toward the name. Also, I tend to favor SIMPLER designs like 60 and 55. Unless it's really, really great I do NOT prefer BUSY images like 12, 46, 58... 51 and 53 are also this way, trying too many things in one logo (and I have no idea what that rounded thing in the background is).

Just to be clear... it is NOT the number 1, it is the word ONE. I think I want to avoid using the number one since it might be confusing.

Whether you use the .com or not is up to you.
