Im am after a logo that is contemporary, modern.

My idea is very close to Marvins magic
I want to go a sort of character like myself built into a circle or like a world with MagicWorld prominent etc.

You can start the project by looking at: http://www.shop4more.co.uk/magic-shop/ then working out a brand along with logo that matches my general ideas and then I can implement into site and then use this brand throughout the packaging I need creating also. SO THE SELECTED WINNER WILL ALSO DO THE PACKAGING WHICH I WILL PAY EXTRA.

I went through LOGOTournament (sorry i had to take off this link coz i dont want the link influence u) and the one by HUSK seemed to be the closest but still not quite right as i thought I should be looking down a sort of animation or caricature route of someone like me holding cards in a modern fashion.

I have to also think about my existing brand which is more red though and kind of like a bit of red I liked on red dragon (http://www.flickr.com/photos/cdesignsuk/sets/72157635452113748/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/cdesignsuk/9666364712/in/set-72157635208224587 )

I'm basically after a logo for life which is easier said than done... but my magic shop is not quite as dark as www.ellusionist.com... kinda need something in between that and www.alakazam.co.uk, something that could be put on box sets as a brand... but also not be childish. For instance Marvins magic has a little man.. not cheesy like that.

plz keep in mind my whole site in general... as I would then like it to all fit together... For my site the background can be changed to make it a little brighter... and the top bar can be redesigned and re-branded.. and so can the bottom section etc. I do like the black website concept but something tells me it's a tad too dark for a ecommerce sales site so gonna keep black panels but brighten background a little.

Another important part of logo... is that it can be made more complicated should I wish in future or simpler and still be able to recognize it... for instance see http://dananddave.com/ and there are many different uses of their logo and all this modern playing cards seem to be in fashion so a mirrored image can work very well if I ever get decks of cards printed.

Looking forward to some great designs.
