Contest Brief
We need a classy looking logo for a Limousine company. This is our first contest on Freelancer, so this is a test to see what kind of quality designers we can utilize. The business already has a logo they like, but it reproduces and resizes very poorly. We are looking for a completely new logo concept or taking the existing logo and cleaning it up to make it less detailed or at least easier to read when it is small like on the current website at http://myspokanelimo.com/.
The current logo is actually a hub cap if you look closely with two capital "L" letters. If you have the skills to make this look better while keeping that same concept, it would be ideal. They also like the current font style, but again it is very hard to read when it is small. Hopefully one of the designers on Freelancer can fix these problems.
As for a new logo design, we want something that is classy or elegant. It should be able to be placed on light or dark backgrounds. One concept we thought about was the top outline of a limo with the company name in it. We are also interested in what creative designs you can come up with on your own.

I really like the concept, but... this would require a dark background which is one of the criteria, we want to be able to use the new logo on light or dark backgrounds..

Everyone -- One of the major problems with the current logo is the font. It is very elegant, but when the size is decreased it is almost impossible to read. Some of the designs you are providing including #2 , #3 , #7, #12 and #13 have this same problem. Hopefully we can have an elegant font, but make it easily legible. Thanks.
