!!! Product: a great web application that motivates students to write and saves teachers time. Think about a web tool that helps students to learn how to produce good well-constructed texts by using a fluid and intuitive process. At the same time it is extremely user-friendly for the teachers !!!
Customer values: Learning, Motivation, Collaboration, Productivity

Slogan: "Empowering everyone to be a good writer"
Audience: we provides high-schools teachers and students with new writing tools to make writing more fun, more educational and more meaningful.
Values to be communicated: Youth (+++), Simplicity (+++), Modernity (++), Playfulness (+), Quietness(+), Obviousness (+), Clarity (+)

Graphical recommendations (!! Please read carefully - submissions that don't follow these guidelines will be rejected !!)
1) We have already tons of suggestions with pens, pencils, graduation hats, quills and books : avoid these elements unless it is a VERY original idea.
2) We need a logo AND an a web application icon (see 3). Show icon+logo in submission. Icon in different sizes.
3) Visual styles desired: 1) Abstract mark or 2) Word mark+ Letter mark
4) Only sans-serif and lowercase fonts
5) Suggested colors: green or orange (not together). No blue gradients themes. No copycat of google (4 basic colors)

  Well, it is what it is. Doesn't mean I respect it. I know the directions and feedback I got, made me believe that I was a potential winner. Then the winning entry was the complete opposite of mine. I felt in a way that I was limited by the directions I got, if I'd be allowed to design more freely I believe I could have come up with something great. I mean an owl is not in any way connected to modern technology, or digital typing, as I was asked to incorporate. More old fashioned and traditional writing. Knowing the winner was chosed afrer a poll makes me feel even more upset about making an effort...
