Contest Brief

name: datacurator

Curation is the process of collecting, organizing and displaying information relevant to a particular topic or area of interest.
Data as an abstract concept can be viewed as the lowest level of abstraction, from which information and then knowledge are derived.

This logo need to convey a sense of the future, the vast network of information that will need, in some sense curated, to be useful, to be found, to have added value.
It needs a modern technological feel but not a cold sterile one.
This business concept is about information professionals, librarians, digital curators.
The idea of curation is one that implies a human intervention is the selection and cultivate of information sources.
I'd prefer a simple design, minimalist (but happy to be wowed by an opposite concept).
Needs to work on both white and black (dark/light) backgrounds. And I'll be using it in both digital and print environments at the end.
