Contest Brief

We're looking for a logo design for a Gardening Company. The name to use would be 'Gebroeders Cappellen' - where 'Gebroeders' means brothers, and can be trimmed to 'Gebr.'

Obviously, a nature touch, a hint of green, organic, readable and recognizable.

in addition a logo they liked - I would like it in the same 'mono/duotone setup'

  I really could have changed the tree, adding / removing leaves or branches but honestly I saw it irrelevant to the final result. The quality of the logo, and I think most of the entries submitted, is measured based on parameters such as simplicity, clarity, choice of fonts, placement to find the balance between the different parts and create a visual composition based on own criteria. Obviously, it's not the same to use a shape of the tree that to use a concept worked for others. But if it's as simple as "copy-pasting and putting a couple of fonts next to it" for you, then I encourage you to participate in this contest. Just take a few minutes of your time and we all can learn from your talent.

  also - creativity, which is based on creating or modifying some shape that was not used before, as using clip art images gives a huge chance that you will meet this shape anywhere - on labels/other logos, etc, - also as you have no author rights to sell this work, and can have legality problems in the future if author of the work will appear.
