Contest Brief

Looking for a logo for DVIRAPP (DVIRAPP.com yet to be developed). This application is being developed for Android and iOS for commercial drivers to record vehicle inspections prior to driving them. Vehicles can be trucks, vans, cars, school buses, anything that is used for work purposes. The logo will be used in website, marketing material, apps and potentially app icon if design can work for it. Preferred colors are blues, blacks, silver, gray and white. Into modern design and metallic if possible. Although I listed some preferences, I am open to options if they catch my eye so use your creativity.

!!!Update!!! Name has to be DVIRAPP/DVIRapp. Driver Vehicle Inspection Report. Same concept but must use D instead of E.

Thanks everyone for your submissions. I see some great things coming and can't wait to make a decision. many of these are also giving me ideas for the app icon which will come soon. One thing I want to point out. My customers will mainly have trucks and buses. The cars look great but probably not practical for me.

  I like the different color options and how the design suggests a car. My customers will mainly be driving large trucks and buses. I would really like to see it suggest a truck or bus. I am no designer but could even have DVIR in large area of truck or bus and then APP in smaller letters on door or cab area.

I updated the contest but wanted to include it here as well. I was forced to make a name change to DVIR instead of EVIR for legal reasons. Thank you and I apologize to those who have made submissions and those who are working on them.

Also, I don't think the website needs to be in the logo. the logo goes in the website :)

Thank you for the submissions so far. I think we are getting close on something but seeing these made me think of something. The emphasis is the first portion (EVIR) and it just happens to be an app. In some cases I like the app caps looks but maybe make something where the first part stands out a bit more. Or, smaller??
