I am looking for a go to person who can create functions in google sheets script editor.

The functions I require will not be particularly challenging and probably exist in the documentation or on the internet, but I do not want to go looking, or I have found them but I am having difficulty implementing.

One of the most key requirements is to be able to write clean code with detailed comments explaining each step and other options that could have been chosen at each step.

The competition winner will be the person I will send ongoing jobs to whenever I need an new script that I can't figure out quickly or that I am struggling to implement.

The script I want for the purposes of this contest I have since figured how to do, which initially caused me to post a job on Freelancer. As I said, I eventually worked it out from the documentation. But since I struggled with it even though it was in the documentation and there were videos available, I am particularly interested in the person who in their comments identifies some of the options in each step that addresses where I went wrong initially.

The script I struggled with was appended to a 'hide' button which you should place in C1

When pressed it hid columns E,F & G

There was a 'hide' button in C3 that when pressed hid columns J, K, L

There was a 'show' button in D1 that when pressed revealed Columns E,F & G and simultaneously hid J,K and L

There was a 'show' button in D3 that when pressed revealed J, K and L but hid E, F, and G

I would be particularly interested in some one who was able to create a button that was a hide button on first press but became a show button on second press eg a show/hide.

This last feature is not a prerequisite of this contest but If it easy for you..show, and explain in the code comments, me what you can do!

All successful entrants will possibly get future script jobs directly from me although I will favor the winner of this contest
