Business background

We hope to provide play service for children and young people aged 6-14 years old across 6 adventure playgrounds as part of a staff mutual.

With the need for change to support the financial pressures felt by the local authority. The staff explored the opportunity for a staff led mutual and we are currently working with commissioners to make this happen. Once the mutual is established, staff will opt out of the Council and operate independently in a new Community Interest Company, named Awesome CIC, which will provide play services to children and young people under contract to the Council.
In order to sustain a quality service on a reduced budget from the local authority the Staff led mutual would need to deliver a range of services that both compliment the play service and contribute to the financial stability of the organisation as a whole. With any profits going back into the organisation for social value.

We are looking for a logo that can be flexible enough to work with a variety of services that we may offer for example;
Awesome CIC
Awesome Adventure Play
Awesome Facility Hires
Awesome Children’s Parties

We will need the layered psd files and reserve the right to modify the design for our purposes.

I have uploaded a design that capture some of the thinking we had behind the development of a logo. I also like how the logo design on this website is flexible enough to be incorporated into all the services they offer. Particularly like the five part colour scheme element (http://www.epiccic.org.uk/). We are looking for something like this that would have a branding theme to it to support future marketing of services.

As our organisation will be named Awesome CIC I am hoping that a logo will give the impact of an awesome organisation owned and led by its staff.
