NOTE: Although the prize for this competition is not that much; should we really like your design/concept we we will rehire you at a later stage to make improvements to the logo.

I need you to design a logo for a multi-million dollar horse race called "The Stallion Cup".

The theme for the logo should embody themes of: prestige, grandeur, power, glory, excitement. Think along the lines of the Melbourne Cup and all the feelings and excitement it conjures up.

The logo can have a stallion in it - either of a prancing stallion or of a horses head, perhaps with wings - but it is not compulsory for a horse to be in the logo. I have attached a few pictures which may give you ideas.

I have also attached a few other horse racing logos which may give you ideas.

The logo must have the words "Stallion Cup" or "The Stallion Cup" in it.

Hi everyone,

I notice that some freelancers have been using the images I supplied for their logos. I just need to clarify that for the winning image I will need to have the legal rights to the image so cant breach any copyright laws in whatever logo we make. I do not own the rights to the images I supplied so they were really for inspiration.

So please make sure I can own the rights to the image when you supply your images.

Dear Freelancers

Thank you all for your work so far. I have been chatting to friends and team members and we have the following updates to work off:

Colour: gold on black; or blue and black

Logo: simple and timeless. Target market is an older audience so dont want logo to be too futuristic/modern. Try make the logo have a rounded feel. Best logo will likely be of a horses head (masculine and powerful) - perhaps enclosed in stars; a circle; wreath or wings.

Text: easily legible and classic.

Hey guys. Thank you so much for all your help so far. I wont have proper access to view designs on my laptop till tomorrow - currently on a kindle which makes it difficult. So please just load up as many ideas as u have in the meantime and I will be sure to give u feedback tomorrow. Thank you for all your help.
