Contest Brief

We're launching an online marketplace for booking activities and experiences online, aimed at professional women who are 21 to 45 years old. We would like the new colour scheme for the website to look more retro. Can you suggest a new colour scheme for the attached home page? The colour scheme should be stylish whilst also evoking fun and a little bit of nostalgia for being young and carefree and spending time with friends. Please see the attached Shutterstock image which shows the colours that we want to use and the atmosphere that we wish to convey.

The colour scheme should specify which colours should be used for particular elements (e.g. buttons, backgrounds, etc). Please provide an html file, word document, image file, psd or similar showing the home page redrawn (in a basic way) in the new colours.

For clarification, by "rough sketch," please just roughly reproduce the layout of the current homepage, e.g. large banner image, forms, etc, but showing your colour scheme.

Hi, I'm afraid that I can't post the image at a higher resolution. I don't need you to reproduce the current website homepage exactly, just a very rough sketch so that I can see what your colour scheme would look like. Even a hand drawn image would be sufficient.

@TheRealBookeroo: On this page it's not possible to post HTML or PSD files, only JPG, PNG, or GIF files. If you like my sheme, I will send you a PSD file, a list of color codes (HEX codes like #0000FF) and a special file for color schemes. You can use this file easily in Photoshop or Illustrator.
