Design a bedroom for my daughter

Kilpailun tehtävänanto

I want to redesign my guest bedroom and create a special place for my daughter to sleep and play. She is almost 4 years old.

Requirements:
1. Create a floor plan and 3D interior render with a unique design, something that she won’t quickly outgrow. Please avoid using pinks but rather go for more neutral or earthy tones.
2. The wardrobe on the left side of the room stays as is.
3. The room should fit two separate 90x200cm beds so that a friend can sleep over. We have a carpenter/contractor who can make custom beds so you do not have to limit your designs to only beds you can buy. Bunk beds are ok.
4. The room will serve as a place to sleep and to play, but should also have space for a small desk where she can draw or do school work.
5. Include storage space to put away toys.
6. Create a shopping list of furniture and decorations (lights, rug, curtains, small decorations, etc) that are in your design from websites that do shipping to Belgium. Budget is max 2,000€

    Is there a particular theme that your daughter likes? For example: animals, dinosaurs, a cartoon, etc.
    To be able to include colors or some special element in the design.

      She likes animals however I’d like the design not to focus too much on her current interest as they tend to change every week. I guess animals are the most universal

      No, that would require too much work to move the pipes. The radiator has to stay where it is.

    Dear contest holder, I want to ask if it is ok to change the hanging lamp model and to add some spotlights in the ceiling? Also is there any particular big toys (like the one you show on the pictures where children can climb on) that should be there? how big the storage space that you need to be (the average size)?

      Yes, please change the hanging lamp to whatever fits your design. However, no recessed spotlights. It would be nice to have climbing toys but it is not necessary. I leave the decision up to you and what can be found to be purchased online. Storage space should be a few shelves/drawers for toys and arts & crafts. Also some space for books.
