Hi,
We are looking for a logo for our new company that specializes in creating small private day nurseries for children under 3 years old. The name is in French "Crèches de pays" (you can also use it in capitals "CRECHE DE PAYS") which means "Day nursery of the country / of the land / local". The logo should express the following:
- Children/baby universe
- Keen on education and creating opportunities for discovery
- Proximity / Local - we will create small day nurseries for 10 children maximum
- Well-being
- Work&Baby - the primary target will be working mothers who need to reconcile their career and children
- Innovation - we hope to do some new things with kindergartens
- Expertise - we often need to work with and convince public authorities and parents, so it should inspire confidence in our expertise
- Reactivity - we can build new structures rapidly and we adapt to the local demands

I would really appreciate if somebody could try a logo in silhouette style with a child/baby playing (with cubes, with a ball, with a pyramide, etc). We emphasize activities in our pedagogical project. So children will play a lot, will have lots of opportunities to explore and learn.

Hi! Thanks for the new proposals. #16 , #19 and #20 are not hitting the goal. Please, review my previous messages for détails. #17 is better, but too sweet... :). That's not what we want to say. #18 is the best for now. Thanks watzinglee! This is close to what we need. I like the color palette, the tree, the house, the sun... However, I must admit that there are still several elements that bother me:
- Could you try to change the color of the roof? This big brown triangle in the middle of the logo looks heavy.
- Can you try different fonts for the text? Maybe put it in all capital letters? There is smth that bothers me with the current text solution. I would like it a bit more solid.
- Finally, I don't feel completely well with the style of the faces. Can you try smth different? I do not know exactly how. Maybe also make them of the same color: as it is now, they make think of "diversity" within the group. We do not need to emphasize this aspect.

Hi, watzinglee, thanks for bringing in some fun. Yes, please go in the direction of fun and play. Even though this particular image ( #12 ) doesn't particuparly fit: ties make you think about business / future businessmen. We don't want to give this impression.

  That's much better! For now, #13 is probably the best one. I like the idea of the house. However, i do not particularly like the colors (too flashy, I would prefer more sober palette: "earth" & natural colors), nor the general style: kind of too light and simplistic. For the style, I definitely prefer #15: it looks solid, kind of good old days cartoons.

Hi, here are some more thoughts and ideas on the logo:
1) Would love somebody trying a silhouette style logo like in the link that I posted earlier of a child/baby playing (with cubes, with a ball, with a pyramide, etc). We emphasize activities in our pedagogical project. So children will play a lot, will have lots of opportunities to explore and learn.

I like more the general feeling of #10 , but still you put mother and child. Please remove mother and put rather a playful child.

Concerning #1 & #7: these remind of the world, globe... they would suit better an international organisation. We are on the contrary very local. PROXIMITY is key.

Hi! Thanks for these first proposals. They are not yet there however. A woman and child like #2 -6 look too religious (like a Madonna with a child). We need something more "down to earth", more joyful and playful. They are also too tender and make you think about mother care. What we need is not mother care, but complementary to mother care, so more dynamic. With mother at home children are cuddled, with us they grow and discover. Please put in more DISCOVERY or EXPLORATION, WORK&BABY, INNOVATION, EXPERTISE.
