Contest Brief

Science Boffins is a company that entertains children between the ages of 5 to 10 years. We wish to give away certificates to all the children that attend our parties during the Christmas period.

1. The design must be exciting for children and introduce both a science and Christmas theme.

2. Since the certificates will be printed on our in-house laser copier we do not want a design that is too heavy. We want a design to be printed on white paper. The design will be light and one that will not use too much laser powder/ink.

3. As a minimum the design must have the following words and information:
a) i) a section that says "Certificate" in a large bold font.
ii) a line triple spaced below that says "This is to certify that"
iii) double spaced below that a line of about 80 periods/full stops e.g. .................../ /..................... This where a parent can write a child's name and
iv) double spaced below that "has been passed as an Assistant Boffin"
v) Triple spaced below that "Signed by" followed by 60 periods/full stops like .....................................
vi) Single spaced below that "Science Boffin"

b) Our Logo file: Logo-450-trans.gif in your choice of size

c) Our file: Logo-450 tight cropped.jpg as a large water mark

d) The words: "www.ScienceBoffins.co.uk" and

e) The words: "Telephone 020 8953 5566"
