The goal of the contest is to design a Wix website for a medium size data cleansing company in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Imagine you were a company and had tons of data. Within that data, some rows were "Near Matches", records which represented the same unit but were spelled, or represented just slightly different. (Ex: "Anthonys Shop", "Anthony's Shop", "Anthony's Shop Ltd." etc..). This is an example of one of the problems we solve to allow businesses to extract more relevant insights, learn about the real problems and make stronger business decisions.
We meet with clients, learn about what data they have and the answers they seek. We then implement a solution and provide recommendations for how they Clean data can be used to drive business decisions.
Our success: We reduced 750,000 lines of data to 10,000 saving companies 25K man-hours and over $300K.
*If you could include these numbers, that would be helpful!*
The current site is here: [login to view URL]
This is just an example we created. Feel free to update the design and content.
The Wix site should meet the following requirements:
Be mobile friendly
*Make use of graphics/animations to explain what we do/the example of the problem we solve written above - this is a MAJOR bonus. If you can somehow include a short animation showing multiple records slimming down to a few, or a visual representation of the same, that would be highly appreciated! *
A means for users to contact us
Showcase our success
The site can be one page if it meets all the requirements. Just clean, user-friendly and explains clearly what we do.
We need the site done by January 14th
“Working with Rizwan was great - he understood all our requests and implemented them in a timely manner, provided multiple design options for us to choose from and did small iterations until we were satisfied. Will go directly to working with Rizwan if I need a web developed / managed.”
