size: 50x40px, cmyk
to get an idea:

at the end we need a GIMP multi layer file for each banner.
Image should suggest a positive impression

After some suggestions, we must explain something to stop misinterpreting:
- the banners should not a copy or part of product images
- above links are only to show you the products: theme is "weight loss instructions"
- graphics should based on your own idea
- the graphic idea should generate a positive viewers impression, means: viewer should see a target state of his/her current state
- don't use text in your graphic: 50x40px is to small
- idea can be also a break: means it must no be i.e. a small person, use metaphers
