My company ([login to view URL]) has some awesome Mandarin learning songs for kids ages 6-12. A lot of interest and business comes from my Youtube channel. I am looking to expand my Youtube channel more with animations. Thus, I'm looking for a pro animator to work with me over the next year. The purpose of this competition is find a talented person who'll be able to create colourful animations in this style/texture/look/feel:

The Competition's Task:
Attached here is 27 seconds of audio from one of my songs. This is a Mandarin song for teaching western children the Chinese Alphabet (Pinyin).
Your task is to animate the first 27 seconds of the song. The children listening to this song will NOT know the Chinese alphabet, and thus it will be up to you to create something that will engage children and help them learn the alphabet in a visual way which matches the music.
My 27 seconds of the song covers the consonants of the Chinese alphabet which is as follows: b p m f d t n l g k h j q x zh ch sh r z c s
The song simply just says these consonants in the alphabet. You can also check this video out to see which you'll have to do way way better than! [login to view URL]
Your animation does NOT have to 100% fluid with a high number of frames....(see video above), however it must keep kids' interest, be colourful, and engaging.
The winner will exemplify all the qualities listed above and win $100 USD. If you win, I'm willing to pay an additional $300 to complete the song. (The whole song has 3 minutes and 50 seconds, and there is a lot of opportunity later for you to recycle material though and add in subtle differences when content/music is recycled to keep interest.) Furthermore, if you're creative, fun, and can deliver on time, then I will happily give you more projects for my Youtube channel. My hope is to find someone more long-term who can work independent and is super creative and all around kicks butt and takes names!
Further details for the animation are as follows:
-No cliché Chinese men/women, beards, the Great Wall, Temples or cultural cliché backgrounds or scenes (example: No Chinese mountains with mist!)...Modern feel please! Also, no Buddhas, no skulls, no devil symbols.... This is 100% G-rated animation.
-I'm preferably looking for someone fluent Mandarin, however if you're very creative then, the please try. I'm willing to work with you!
-The animator must also have a musical ear to be able to match the animations well with my music. Must be highly creative and form your own "stories" in the animation to match my music.
-I will NOT provide scripts with second-by-second telling you what to animate. You must come up with a creative storyline and arch to match the music.
-The animator must have a keen eye to spot when the energy and interest of animation falls flat, and is able to pull out new ideas/movement to make seamless and enjoyable animations for children.
-You must have a sense of humour. Yes, you must naturally be fun-loving and a person who enjoys animating surprising things to tickle the funny bone of kids!
Please submit if you think this is you. I look forward to hearing from you!
