  Alcatraz87's response is incorrect. When you designate a winner, the winner has some time to complete the final deliverable. After the winner transfers the final deliverable, you will have a week to accept the finished work. With a contest, assuming you've already selected a winner, the winner isn't obligated to make any changes during the file transfer process. After the file transfer process, the winner then collects 90 GBP less any associated Freelancer fees. This is all noted on the Freelancer FAQ page.
