First of all thank you for taking into consideration participating in this contest!
This contest is about portrait me, my wife and my two daughters in a SCENE. (even very small in the background)
FEEL FREE TO SUBMIT A WORK IN PROGRESS, A SKETCH in order to finish it later.

We went trough hard times but we stand together and our unity is our force and our force is our unity.
As a gift to our beloved mothers, in even harder moments for them, instead of another yet beautiful photo, we thought about making them a better gift.
Something to show them we are a strong family and we fight adversities with a big smile upon our faces and with unity.
Something that will stay with us too. And probably with my daughters when they will grow.
So being the value of your time for me incredibly higher than the reward I'm offering, please feel free to submit a work in progress, a sketch or an idea in order to be judged before doing the rest of the work!
NOTE: Prize is getting increased and I plan to increase it as I find more funds, so if it's low for you now, check again in a few days, it's not a promise but I will do my best!!

As we love all kind of Art, and I have seen on this platform amazing jobs, here is my call.
The artwork must include us in a scene (even just as small figures). I am not looking for a pure PORTRAIT, but more an artistic scenery and represent strength trough unity,it can be fantasy themed (we are walking in a monster filled forest or whatever comes into your artistic mind!!!) or a Miyazaki inspired illustration, a medieval or sci-fi setting, could be pixel art, or 3d render, a digital painting etc. or even something deep if you feel inspired but please don't keep it too serious or melancholic. We would like to look at your artwork and smile!
No limits but please do not make a Disney themed artwork!
It does not have to be too accurate, the choice is yours, but not kitsch.
Please no exaggerate caricature with big heads or funny works!
Style and colors are your choose.

So here we are, my name is Luca I'm the head of the family,I'm 32 but I could look older or younger depending on days (and probably where you come from too),one year older than my wife Roberta. She keeps the pieces together and keeps us in good shape too, she is that always smiling type of person, very clever and sensible,but strong at the same time. Our first daughter looks much like her, she is 6,sensible, smart and very intelligent. She loves reading books! The smaller one is almost three years old now and she is so beautiful as she is an hurricane! Deep blue eyes,she is crossing the age of doing all the opposite we tell her, but it's a period a lot of kids cross and she is a sweet girl with a future in comedy as she loves to make funny faces.

Format:
Any kind of work is welcome
Orientation does not matter.

FEEL FREE TO SUBMIT A WORK IN PROGRESS, A SKETCH, OR AN IDEA. (with possibly a small part done to let me get the idea of the final artwork)

Final print has to be (at least) A2 size (unless you have a reason eg. is handmade etc.), any format is welcome.
++Any other printing technique as painting on canvas etc. that might come in your head to enhance your work are a good plus!

It is required a brief description of the technique or tool you are using, not that it is much important but the winner artwork has to be a genuine production,not a collage in photoshop of the work of another.Regarding finished entries,upon choosing the winner, i will make a reversal image search to ensure that.

Any question if you are unsure about your idea before starting your work is welcome,
if size is an issue,need extra days or anything else just ask!!! I will check regularly!!

Sooooo...it was a difficult choice, all artworks were great!! In the end we narrowed down our selection to three artworks that interpreted well the message we wanted to give, then they were two...after almost an hour we have finally chosen! Thank you everybody for participating!!!

Prize up and 3 days extra for everybody!!! It's quite expensive but you all deserve that!! 5 star works have now 5 days to refine or finish the artwork!!! Initial 250 budget is almost gone :'( but you guys are very talented :D!! I will have to ask after the contest is closed (to anyone who agrees) to set a sale price around 60/70/80 dollars,if you agree, otherwise you are free to set any price you feel is right!!! many thanks I love you all!! Yes with "sell Entry" you can win anyway. it's a price that appears just at the end of the contest, when I chooose the winner, all prices are then shown to me and I can buy the others (its like choosing a second winner more or less) but it doesn't stop you from being eligible to win,I know it because I did another contest for my blog and, at the end of the contest, all prices appeared.

For clarity, three stars means Im satisfied by the artwork, two means that Im not totally happy, I will not give high ratings at the moment because you are at different points and it would not be fair. Also I would like to ask you to set an affordable Sell price in order to let me buy a few more artworks as they are all very particular and I'm amazed by the results!!

A bit of explanation about the fantasy settings Im stressing everybody about: my mother used to read me when I was a kid books like the whole Avalon series, Shannara on so on!! Then I developed my own passion for sci-fi and horror but that's another story!! Cheers!

  Right question, no, if somebody plans to do a longer work, as long as I can see at least a small part done, could win and finish the work in a reasonable time. I'm still considering adding a few weeks but I prefer to put money in the prize pot, the site is quite "greedy"....

I am thinking of incorporating a banner flag that represents your family. Is there a symbol that would be fitting? Maybe a symbol of something that binds you together? If not,I'll make something that looks good with the theme. It's going to be a kind of medieval fantasy theme. I just hope I'm able to pull off what I'm envisioning,haha.
