Perhaps focus more on the clients requests, and less on your own emotions.
What is it with graphic designers and blurting out other peoples quotes anyway.
Did you take inspiration from that quote or did you just steal it?
Wait did Tesla say that? No, he didn't. I knew you wouldnt have, but then if you dont copy his quote then whats the point in quoting it all cause then its just you quoting it. Some would point out that it is remarkably similar to Teslas quote. But only to change a couple of subtle words.
I have a quote that is inspired by our last comunications mixed with a little bit of "irony".

Hi, yeah first time using freelancer so bit of a Rookie.
So I am quick to asume all freelancers can see the work being created and rejected? I did not know this. Copy is a harsh word, I did wonder if it was inspired by your version as it was quite similar to yours.
However I then noticed the tails he did on the "M" which I do realy like. Also the radius on the ends of his outer circle seems to fit the smooth design rather than introducing sharp edges.
In your version the font looks a bit 3d(ish) due to the thin coloring on the left and thicker on the right. Similar would be said for the upper and lower of your teardrop line. Also the shadow you did is not really what I am going for. So in short, if he has taken inspiration from a design that I gave 5 stars and moulded it to make the style more closely match what I was requesting then high five to him for playing it smart. Thank you dear, I hope you have found a logo that you like and that you will have a successful business. Inspiration is one thing, and when you absolutely copy everything (I mean the shape, the position of the letters, and just change the font is definitely stealing). however, as tesla said, I am not sorry that they are stealing my ideas, but that they do not have their own. I will give up now because I don't see the point in competing with a person who copied something that I originally designed and I wish you a successful day and competition. Best Regards

It is not a problem, it happens, the truth that I was a little disappointed when I saw that I was rejected and my copied design of the second participant with a rating of 5 stars. :) Thanks for the feedback, I'll make the changes you suggested right away. Hi Ivana, I really do like this, It was my top pick out of the first 80 or so I looked at earlier.
Wondering if you could aim for the "neon tube" style of outline on the text and font.
For the text around the circle, I would be keen to see if you could fit in the following "Flooglebinding the Universe" - Above and "Since 2003" - Below. But now that I write it down, I cant invision it fitting. But if you can add it in a way so that it looks pimp i'd love to see it.
