  It's not the same sword. The symbolism is the oak leaf for trust and the sword for enforcement. The lawkeepers are a little like mediaeval police, and this is their badge, so sort of similar to that image, but more like a sword laid on top of an oak leaf.

I need some clarifications,
1. What will be back cover of the book 3? Is it going to be the continuation of “The stormy seascape” or something else?
2. In which time period this total story is happening? Like in Which age? If you can make us clear on that, then it will give an idea of how will be the landscape and city building style.
3. Is this girl in book 3 a pirate?
4. And also can you provide some sample images to understand the mood of the graphics you like in your books. I am getting a “Lord of the ring” kind of style after reading your description.

  1. Back cover of book 3 should be ornamented somehow. It should be very similar in style and colour to book 1. They are linked - part of the same narrative thread. I neglected to state the cover colour, which should also be the same as book 1. The seascape and the images on the other covers should only be inside the circle. 2. The time period is sort of mediaeval European, about 1300's equivalent - no electricity, no gunpowder etc. If you think lord of the Rings you are about right. 3. No, not a pirate. She's a trader's daughter, a bookkeeper, but she was slashed in the face by the man who killer her brother... 4. LOTR is about the right mood, but

I've already lodged the money with Freelancer. I'm not sure how it works from your end because I've only ever bought here. They transfer the money to you, so I guess it's a question you should ask them. This is a competition. That means if you win you get the money. My part is to encourage you all and choose the design I like best.
