We require a logo for our business, NuState Capital Partners. NuState is an investment holding company investing in and partnering with entrepreneurs with businesses that assist government in providing critical services its citizens need. NuState is currently invested in the education, healthcare, energy and water industries.
Why the name NuState Capital Partners? A lot of uncertainty and negativity currently prevails in our country (South Africa), with government failing to provide basic services to its citizens. While others would leave and be fearful of investing in our country, we see this as THE opportunity. Invest in and partner with entrepreneurs with businesses that provide the services our citizens need, where government does not have the resources or ability to deliver. In a nutshell, our mandate is “failure of state”, thus provision of services by a new state and the name NuState Capital Partners. Further to this, the world is changing, with technology disrupting all industries and old established companies. The world is in a new state. Given our previous experience in the technology industry, technology will play a massive role in enabling our underlying investee companies. While we will not be investing in companies that build technology, our companies will invest heavily in technology to remain competitive, scalable and nimble to ensure we stay relevant.
