Glassdoor evaluates jobs based on three factors; earning potential rating, number of job openings and job satisfaction rating. 

The jobs that made it onto the list have featured in no less than 100 salary reports and 100 job satisfaction ratings by US-based employees in the past year (as of Jan 1st 2017). These jobs scored at least 4 out of 5, meaning there are many job openings, the salary is lucrative and job satisfaction is good. What more could an employee wish for?
