Once you have a definite idea in mind, start working on it. Will the product or service allow you to make a profit? Is there a demand for it?

It should include a mission statement, a summary of the company, the product or service you are offering, your target market, cost of operations and how will it be financed. A business plan is absolutely necessary for when you present your idea to prospective investors.
